Perfect love drives out fear, and God’s love is perfect, because He is Love. My Father in Heaven has loved me with an everlasting love. He is well pleased with my life, and He calls me His beloved daughter. He surrounds me with supernatural protection and He answers all of my prayer requests, because He delights in blessing His children.

He doesn’t require me to starve myself or to spend years being taught by anyone else about who He is.  He shows me daily and He teaches me all that I need to soar above this world.  He has given me the Holy Spirit to lead me into all truth and He has opened up the Heavens to pour out blessings so great that there isn’t room enough to contain it.

When you abide in love, you abide in God.  God doesn’t ever speak negatively about His creation.  He speaks life words that produce good results, and He encourages me with His loving kindness that leads me into His presence.  In His presence, there is fullness of joy, and at His right hand are pleasures forevermore.  Most people have no idea that everything that is written in scripture is the Truth, and the experiences that people had in the past are still available today.

you are so beautiful

Love is something that becomes part of a person.  God has become so real to me that I don’t doubt if he hears my voice, because I know that He lives with me, and we share our lives together.  I can’t separate my thoughts from God, because I have been given the mind of Christ.  I go to sleep thinking about God, and I wake up thinking about God.  I want to experience everything that He has for me, and I don’t want to live a boring life that is focused on things that will not last.  My greatest aim is Love.  What does it look like to obey God (which is how we show that we love Him)?

Cory was 27 years old in the photo above.  He was living in a stairwell in the City of Chandler’s parking garage for City workers and Council members.  His grandmother raised him, but she had recently passed away when the Holy Spirit led my family to help him that day.  Cory couldn’t read or write, so he was unable to get a job without the skills to fill out the application.  I brought food and other supplies to Cory as often as possible.  He ended up going to jail for a year or more, and was released for a short while, but I haven’t seen him for a few months, so I assume he is back in jail.

Cory is not a criminal or a bad person, but he has spent time in jail for minor issues that stem from being homeless.  Since Cory has no money or means to bail himself out of jail, he has to stay locked up as long as it takes before his case has been resolved.  Cory’s life seems to have no direction or value by the world’s measurement, but God was so concerned about Cory, that He led my family specifically to find and help him that day, and numerous others.  Here is what Cory said to me that day when I sat down to talk with him.  “I didn’t think that people like you talked to people like me.”  I asked what he meant, and he tried to explain that most people just pass right by him on the streets of Chandler, and don’t even give him a friendly smile or a courteous hello.  He believed that he was invisible to the typical middle class citizens of Chandler, Arizona, because that was how the people treated him.  I know that God wanted me to hear those words that he spoke that day, because it was necessary to understand how a person can become so insignificant in their mind after being rejected and invisible to the people that pass by daily too focused on their own importance in the world to consider the needs of another.

I share that story, because I want people to grasp the heart of the Father, and understand that it isn’t about what we can get, nor is it about creating projects and plans to “fix people”.  Cory might not look like he has much of a life, but his life was of great value for God’s plans and purposes in this time.  God wants all of His children to learn how to move in the compassion that Jesus shared, because it is in that compassion that miracles are possible.  God is seated in heavenly places, but he is also with the lowly and contrite in heart.  He revives the languishing soul, and heals the wounds of his people.

Don’t pass by others without so much as noticing that they have value and need to be recognized too.  Say hello and smile with a sincere heart of acceptance for all people to feel welcomed.  God accepted all of us even though we were not worthy or of much use to anyone else.  We were given great value when we accepted Christ and received a new heart.  People don’t understand that in Christ, they are no longer the beggar on the streets, but they are able to receive all that Jesus paid for us to live an abundant life.  How about we share the Truth with everyone everywhere we go from this time forth?
